Section titled “Your number at a glance”Every HalloMia plan comes with a German landline number. You reserve it with one click under Phone numbers — Mia starts answering calls on it as soon as the number is fully active.
Why “reserved” and not immediately “active”?
Section titled “Why “reserved” and not immediately “active”?”German telecommunications law requires verified customer data (Bestandsdaten) before a phone number can be permanently assigned. Right after reserving, you fill in the short form under Settings → Customer data once — and the number is fully activated. You have 30 days to do this; you can see the deadline at any time on the Phone numbers page.
Keeping an existing number?
Section titled “Keeping an existing number?”Want to keep your usual number? In many cases you can set up call forwarding from your existing number to the HalloMia number — talk to your current provider or our support about it.
